This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through beforeyouship at https://beforeyouship.dev, operated by IndieGoing. Payments are processed by Paddle, who acts as the merchant of record. Questions? Email us at indiegoing@gmail.com.
Pro Subscription — Monthly Plan
14-day money-back guarantee. If you subscribe to the Pro Monthly plan and are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us within 14 days of your initial payment and we will issue a full refund. After 14 days, no refunds are issued for the current billing period — you retain access through the end of that period.
Renewal charges are not eligible for a refund once processed. To avoid a renewal charge, cancel your subscription at least 24 hours before the next billing date via your account settings.
Pro Subscription — Annual Plan
14-day money-back guarantee. If you subscribe to the Pro Annual plan and are unsatisfied for any reason, contact us within 14 days of payment and we will issue a full refund.
After 14 days, annual subscriptions are non-refundable. If you cancel an annual plan after the refund window, your access continues until the end of the annual period — no pro-rated refund is issued for unused months.
Export Pass — One-Time Purchase ($5)
The one-time Export Pass is non-refundable. The Export Pass delivers immediate access to PDF and CSV export upon successful payment; the product is consumed at the moment of delivery. Because the digital goods are received instantly, we cannot issue refunds for Export Pass purchases.
Exception: if you were charged but the export did not complete due to a confirmed technical failure on our end, contact us and we will issue a full refund or re-deliver the export.
Exceptions and Edge Cases
We will issue a refund outside of the above policy in the following situations:
- Duplicate charge: You were charged more than once for the same purchase or subscription period.
- Technical failure: A confirmed bug on our end prevented you from accessing the features you paid for and the issue was not resolved within 72 hours of your report.
- Unauthorized charge: A charge occurred without your authorization. Contact us immediately — we will investigate and refund if confirmed.
Refunds for the above exceptions may be issued regardless of when the charge occurred.
How to Request a Refund
Email indiegoing@gmail.com with:
- The email address associated with your account or purchase
- The date of purchase
- A brief description of your reason (for subscriptions) or the issue encountered (for Export Pass)
We aim to respond within 2 business days. Approved refunds are processed through Paddle and typically appear on your statement within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer.
Free Tier
The free tier of beforeyouship is available without payment. No refund policy applies to free tier usage.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at https://beforeyouship.dev/refund. For active subscribers, material changes will be communicated by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
